Tonight Mr. Cat and I indulged in sushi (yum my favorite!) and a mini missed Tivo marathon of Top Chef.
I fell in love all over again with my husband.
Why?
Because every time the theme song would come on, he and I would sit in our dueling reclining sofa seats and dance.
Can you say “huge dorks”?
On on an even more random note….. There were lots of commercials for “The Real Housewives of Orange County“, and I told my goofy husband that he indeed had a goofy wife, because I secretly had California pride because that show is the most popular of all the “Real Housewives” (if you don’t know they debuted New York and Atlanta).
Nail.In.Dork.Coffin.
Me.

You should be proud of your rich housewives show!! hee hee. Isn’t it funny what moments you think “Wow I really love him!”
Comment by Jennifer @ The Cubicle's Backporch December 18, 2008 @ 7:07 amI think it’d be hilarious if they did a Housewives show in a town like ours…like the country version! Oh wait, they already have Wife Swap…
Comment by Ashley December 18, 2008 @ 7:36 amhaha Matt and I dance and sing to a lot of theme songs, so I see where you are coming from on that one. I have never seen your housewives, but…um…congrats(?) on having the most popular!
Comment by bekah December 18, 2008 @ 8:35 amYou certainly ARE a dork. But I love ya anyway! LOL
Comment by April December 18, 2008 @ 8:48 amwell if dancing in a chair makes someone a Dork, well I’m proud to say the I am one also! Merry Christmad from Celestine and I.
Comment by mjgolch December 19, 2008 @ 5:41 pmUmmm….yes, I would have to agree that you are a major dork. But that’s one of the reasons why I love you!!!
Comment by dcokequeen December 20, 2008 @ 12:03 pmYou know – I don’t get that “Top Chef” show. I mean – I like it. I really do. And that’s what I don’t get. I can’t TASTE the food. I can’t SMELL the food. All I can do is LOOK at it. How is that show successful? It’s like a scratch-and-sniff without the sniffing.
Anyway – thanks for stopping by my blog and wishing my hubby a welcome home. I really appreciate it – he just got home today and had to go to bed early because his flight here was so early this morning. But he’s HERE. Hands down this will be the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER.
Comment by Tranny Head December 20, 2008 @ 8:06 pmYour not a dork!!

Have certain shows we love together and get all dorky about it……We love Hell’s Kitchen and LOST!! We have friends who make fun of us, because we have to discuss theories during the commercials of LOST …..
What a sweet bonding time! Hubby and I are crazy like that too, but it usually consists of dutch oven farts and laughing until we cry! ;oD
